Too many cancelations and rescheduling limit

Hello,

I do some work in a setting where, unfortunately, clients often cancel (and sometimes no-show — thank you for having a feature for this). Of course, having a slate of clients cancel, regardless of lead time (I require 3 days notice for cancelations), means that an entire day can be wiped out. That's time that could be used for other clients, other work, etc.

So, I am wondering if there can be a limit for cancelations/reschedulings.

For instance:

  • A user makes an appointment
  • User decided to cancel appointment/reschedule appointment
  • User cancels/reschedules appointment
  • User cancels/reschedules appointment again (for example, it could trigger the limit after 2 attempts or after 5 attempts, etc.)
  • When user attempts to reschedule, either by making a new appointment or through the reschedule flow, the user receives a dialogue box that says, "Sorry, due to rescheduling and cancelation limits, you are no longer allowed to schedule an appointment on this calendar."
  • I assume the way TidyCal would "know" if this is the same person, if they attempt to use the same email address they've used for previous bookings.

This could incentivize folks to not overbook, or to ensure they are scheduling appointments that they make.

From the user end: if someone send me an email saying, "hey, I tried to make a new appointment, but it wouldn't let me," I'm very comfortable sending them an email back saying something along the lines of, "thanks for letting me know, but my schedule and bandwidth are such that I can't manage a deluge of cancelations and rescheduling. Here are some other resources or services."

Thank you for your consideration!
